One of my two businesses
Small-business technology for Frankfort and Central Kentucky. Owner-operated — when you call, you get me.
Most of my work falls into a handful of areas. None of it is exotic. It's the technology a small business runs on, done properly the first time.
The single most common thing I get called about. A network that grew by accident over several years — a router from the internet provider, a switch someone added, an access point sitting under a desk because that's where the cable reached. It works until it doesn't, and when it stops, nobody knows where to start. I design it properly, run it properly, label it, and document it so the next person isn't guessing.
Ongoing support for businesses that don't have anyone in-house. Machines kept patched and working, problems dealt with before they become outages, and someone to call who already knows how your setup is put together.
Getting a business off a personal Gmail address and onto proper email at its own domain, with shared calendars, shared drives and accounts you actually control when someone leaves. Migration included — I move the mail, I don't hand you a manual.
Fast, straightforward websites for small businesses, with no required monthly fee. A site should load quickly, say clearly what you do, and be findable when someone searches for your kind of business locally.
For buildings that wired service doesn't reach properly — and in Central Kentucky there are plenty. Mounted, aligned, run inside and integrated with the existing network, usually the same day.
The repetitive work that quietly eats hours every week — rekeying the same information into two systems, chasing the same paperwork, sending the same message. Often a small amount of automation removes it permanently.
